I've been getting ready for my trip to Europe next month and since I'll be going snorkeling for the first time, I thought I'd look into buying a waterproof camera. After reading a few reviews I've decided to go with Canon's Powershot D10, which is not only waterproof, but freezeproof and shockproof as well. I was so stoked when I got it, played around a bit with it (it's funny to me that I have NO idea how to use a point and shoot camera anymore, I'll need a bit of practice with that one!) but it wasn't until one week later that I got brave and tested the camera underwater. So I filled a bowl with water, turned the camera on, and (eeek!) put it inside the bowl.
Now how cool is that!
There's even an underwater setting. Needless to say, I really can't wait to go snorkeling!

That camera sounds indestructable. I'll look forward to seeing your pictures.
Sounds like you have a great vacation to look forward to!
Well I'm also eager to see the first pictures of your snorkeling experience with this little blue thing ;-)
Sounds like a great camera. Don't get too much paint in your coffee - you never know what it will produce.
Glub, glub.
Above water translation: How cool!!
